HAPPY PAWS MISSION STATEMENT:
Our mission is to improve the lives of companion animals in the Plattsmouth area.
The members of Happy Paws would like to thank all those who have helped support Happy Paws!
All of the money collected goes to the care and welfare of the animals in our shelter and community. We can not save these lives without the help of the general public!
We need a public Dog Park in Plattsmouth!
It is with great sadness that I announce our President Peg Bennett passed away in July 2011. She had the foresight and knowledge to know that our community was ready and willing to help homeless animals!
To honor Peg's memory Happy Paws has begun the planning stages of developing and fundraising for the "Peg Bennett Memorial Dog Park." We as citizens of this community and as dog lovers know that a dog park would be a wonderful addition to our progressive and exciting City! The time is now, but this is going to take a lot of planning, convincing and FUNDRAISING!! If you want to get onboard and help out, give us a call! or come to our next meeting. You can call the Animal Shelter for more information at (402) 298-8235.

Your Donations helped to save these animals:
Arkie: small sickly kitten found by Plattsmouth Citizens. Happy Paws paid the vet bills for him and he has since been adopted and is now called Harley by his loving family.

Jilly before her new mommie , she looks so sad Jilly after her new mommie and a little more weight!
This is Jilly, she was mistreated by her original owner and ended up at the animal shelter, thin, dirty, covered in urine and feces. Jilly didn't trust a whole lot of people and expected everyone to just lock her in a kennel and ignore her. Happy Paws paid the medical bills for her and she was adopted by the best "doggie" mom ever! She is loved and spoiled every minute of every day now! She also has a doxie brother & sister!

This is Nina, she had a broken leg.....Happy Paws paid the vet bills to fix her leg and now she lives permanently with her foster family.
100% of monies donated from the public goes towards the care, protection and benefit of the animals that we help.
